This rechargeable LED bulb fits your existing B22 bayonet fitting. While there is power it works like a normal 9W warm-white bulb and charges itself. When Eskom cuts, it switches to emergency mode so the light stays on.

How to use it

Good to know If the wall switch is OFF when the power fails, the bulb stays off. That is normal. Leave the switch on in the rooms you want lit.
Questions before you buy
Is this B22 or screw-in? This listing is B22 bayonet (push and twist). Check your old bulb. If it is a screw fitting you need E27, not this one.
How long does it last in an outage? About a few hours in emergency mode. Lower brightness lasts longer. Treat “up to 5 hours” as the low-brightness end, not full brightness all night.
What colour is the light? Warm white in normal use (about 3000K). Cooler white in emergency mode (about 6500K).
Will it keep my WiFi on? No. This is a light only. For routers use a Mini UPS.
