Load shedding products

  • Yes — that is what it is built for. It sits between the wall and your router. When the power cuts, it switches over automatically so the router, modem, and many cameras can stay on.

  • Runtime depends on your router. A typical home WiFi router often lasts several hours on a 12000mAh mini UPS. Fibre ONTs, mesh systems, and cameras that draw more power will run for less time. Facebook a photo of your router's power label (V and A) and we will tell you if it is a match.

  • In most cases, yes, as long as your router or ONT uses a supported DC or PoE voltage. Our mini UPS options include USB 5V, DC 9V/12V, and PoE 15V/24V on selected models. Check the product page specs, or send us the adaptor label before you buy.

  • Yes. Selected models also charge phones and tablets over USB. The main job is still keeping your router and cameras on.

  • No. If you only need internet, cameras, or phone charging, a mini UPS or power bank is cheaper, quieter, and easier than a full inverter.

  • Yes. Our rechargeable lights and lanterns are made for load shedding — charge them while there is power, then use them when it cuts.

  • We focus on practical backup: mini UPS units, power banks, lights, multi-plugs, and cables. If you need a specific solar item, facebook or email us and we will tell you what we can supply.

Compatibility & setup

  • Yes. Most customers plug the Mini UPS into the wall, plug the router into the UPS, and leave it. When Eskom cuts, it takes over on its own.

  • Each product page lists exactly what is included. Mini UPS orders typically include the unit, DC cable, PoE cable (where applicable), and a user manual.

  • Message us on Facebook or email within 7 days with your order number and a photo of your router label. We will help you exchange or return it according to our policy.

Returns, warranty & support

  • If something is wrong, unused, or not the right fit, contact us on facebook within 7 days of delivery. Do not throw away the box or accessories.

  • Take photos of the box and the product before you throw anything away, then Facebook us or email the same day with your order number. We will sort a replacement or refund.

  • Products are supplied for normal home use. If a unit fails under normal use shortly after delivery, Facebook us with a short video of the problem. We will assess a replacement or repair option.

  • Facebook us or use the Contact page and we will get back to you.
